Project Overview
This backyard in Brooklyn needed a full ground-up rebuild. The existing concrete slab was excavated to a depth of six inches, cleared away, and the ground was graded level to create a stable base for the new work.
Once the subgrade was prepared, wire mesh reinforcement was laid across the surface before 4000 PSI concrete mix was poured. That strength rating keeps the slab solid under heavy use and resistant to cracking over time.
After the concrete cured, new bluestone was installed on a sand and cement bed. The result is a clean, durable backyard surface built to last.
